  •    Stealth technology is very expensive. And is it still relevant on the modern battlefield.

Is stealth technology still relevant. Stealth is an extremely expensive very secretive high level military technology that has been unbeatable for about 20 years but is that still a reality. Countries like Germany, Great Britain, France and Italy have pooled their resources and created the conventionally un-stealthy but highly maneuverable Euro-fighter 2000 Typhoon. When these 4 advanced countries have ignored stealth and built the EF-2000 what do they know that we dont. The EF-2000 is fitted with PIRATE, Passive, Infrared, Airborne, Tracking, Equipment. It detects the most minute of heat signatures at more than a hundred km away. Also consider a country like Greece that has enemies like turkey who are part of stealth aircraft projects like the JSF, thus causing Greece to have bought the EF-2000 as an improvement on its reasonable but very average air force. Is the Eurofighter 2000 the European nations answer to the stealth under development in rival countries like India, China, and Russia? And is it the Europeans message to the Americans that they are also top players in world affairs who can punch their own weight or above it? Tell us what you think.
